Things are blooming in the Matthies Grove North Meadows in Peoples State Forest. Come out, particularly in the early morning or late evening, and take a stroll and view the native plants that are popping up, like this Butterfly Milkweed. An ongoing project spearheaded by FALPS in consultation with DEEP Biologist Pete Picone and now shepherded by Master Gardner extraordinaire and FALPS’ Board Member Dave Lewis. Pete and Dave will lead a walk in the Meadows August 25th to discuss all that’s going on. Please come.
