VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES:

SEPTEMBER

  • Saturday September 15th, 9 a.m. to 12 noon
    Invasive plant species work with Farmington River Coordinating Committee (FRCC) biologist, Betsy Corrigan. Please bring eye protection, loppers, hand saw, work gloves, snacks and water.
  • Saturday, September 22nd, 3-5 p.m.  Matthies Grove Pollinator Garden. Please bring eye protection, shovel, rake, work gloves and water.
  • Saturday, September 22nd, 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.  We are looking for volunteers to help us staff an informational table about FALPS at Family Nature Day at White Memorial Conservation Center, Litchfield, CT. If you are interested, please contact Lance Hansen at lance.hansen@ct.gov
  • Saturday, September 22nd, 11 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.  We are looking for volunteers to help us staff an informational table about FALPS at the Connecticut Forest and Park Association Field Day at Burr Pond State Park in Torrington. If you are interested, please contact Lance Hansen at lance.hansen@ct.gov.

OCTOBER
