FALPS’ Board members and other volunteers have been working diligently this spring, summer and fall to prepare the trails for when the drought subsides. There are many parts of our trails that get very damp during normal precipitation years and these bog bridges help folks travel across these wet areas.
Building these bridges requires heavy lifting and walking into the trails to where they will be built.
Much thanks to trail meister Erik Landgraf and FALPS’ President Ralph Scarpino, for planning, working and supervising these projects and to Helen Ann Landgraf who is also always on hand to help and to all the volunteers who show up.
