Friday Night at the Museum

Our Friday Night at the Museum (Pavilion) lecture series ended this past Friday with a talk by Department of Energy and Environmental Protection biologist Andy LaBonte. Lots of interesting things to learn about moose in CT–which are largely in the Northwest corner of the state. But fair warning, according to Andy, two of the three moose who ended up road kill this year were in Barkhamsted. They are very dark animals and we have very dark roads, so please ease up on the accelerator so that all our wildlife roaming the roads at night can survive.
