Join Friends of American Legion and Peoples State Forests (FALPS) on Sunday, April 26, 2026 from 12:30 PM – 5:30 PM at the 11th Annual Barkhamsted Earth Day Nature Festival, co-sponsored by FALPS and the Town of Barkhamsted with funding from the Farmington River Coordinating Committee.
Join FALPS and Master Wildlife Conservationist Ray Hardy and deer watcher extraordinaire as he presents a few considerations and practices that can help facilitate a deeper connection with nature and our other-than-human wild neighbors.
NEW DATE - Rescheduled to March 1, 2026: Come join FALPS and retired Department of Energy and Environmental Biologist Paul Rego and find winter tracks and signs of the animals that call Peoples State Forest home.
