This year marks the 100th Anniversary of Peoples State Forest–a public land that was made possible by the small contributions of many people.
As you know, FALPS is a group that works diligently and tirelessly to improve our forests, keep the trails clear, build bog bridges and boardwalks and fun year-round hikes and events to benefit those who visit here.
We are holding a 100th Anniversary celebration in concert with the State and other entities to celebrate this amazing place and its flora and fauna.
Folks back then gave $8 an acre to establish the Forest and it grew over time in various ways. Please read the write-up at the link below and, please consider contributing at least $8 by clicking the “Donate” button.
The events are the first weekend in October 2024 and are free and open to all.
We’ve created a GoFundMe account to help defray the costs. Thanks for whatever you can do and hope to see you there!
