Friends of American Legion and Peoples State Forests (FALPS), Connecticut’s newest “Friends of Connecticut State Parks” group, was established on April 26, 2015.
FALPS’ mission is to enhance, advocate, and encourage use and awareness of the recreation opportunities, cultural heritage, and natural resources of the American Legion and Peoples State Forests.
FALPS is classified as a 501 (c)(3) organization under the Internal Revenue Code and further classified as a public charity. Organizations with this status are qualified to receive tax deductible bequests, devises, transfers or gifts.
